White Pants.

I've never worn white pants before until yesterday. A while ago my mom bought me some white straight leg pants from The Gap, and they've sat in my closet for a number of months. I was trying to find something to wear to work, and I decided to give these a try. 

To my surprise, these pants fit nicely. I always end up with jeans with pockets below my butt, but these land right where they are supposed to! I don't have any womanly curves, but these pants create the illusion. I don't normally wear straight leg jeans, so I cuffed the leg for a more summery feel.

In My Closet / vol. 1

In my closet (IMC) is a series that will show you what is in my closet, and how I wear what I already have. I'm a college student with bills to pay, so you won't find any expensive designer things here.

In my closet, I have mostly basics. I used to shop at Old Navy most of the time, so a ton of their clothing is hanging in the closet or packed away in my dresser drawers. I work at a major bargain retailer, so ever since I began working there I've bought some of the clothing from the children's section. Although these are stylish and match current trends, they aren't made to last. C'mon, polyester blends and rayon won't get me years of use. WOMP.

Since I'm on this new journey, I am trying to find pieces that will stand the test of time, but in children's wear, that's going to be hard. In the coming days, I'm going to show you my favorite outfits from the garments that I already own and love.
